Newcomers of all ages are always made welcome, as long as you're male. You can come along with no prior experience, and no commitment, so why not give it a whirl? We have members from a 20 mile radius around York from a wide variety of professions and ages.
We don't charge any fees and we supply the specialist kit items of bells, baldric, and sticks.
We practice on most Monday evenings between October and mid May in the scout hut on Bad Bargain Lane, Heworth, York between 8:30 and 10pm. After practice we head for a local hostelry, the Waggon and Horses in Lawrence Street, to socialise and rehydrate.
